There is everything you could possibly want to explore nearby, medieval hilltop villages, perfumed lavender fields, the Lac de Ste Croix, the Gorges du Verdon, colourful markets and, of course, good restaurants!

The pretty local market town of Aups is 20 minutes drive with the elegant and sophisticated Aix en Provence just a 60 minute drive. The beaches of the Cote d'Azur are 75 minutes drive and therefore an easy day trip.

The chateau is also beautiful in winter, warm and cosy, with stunning blue cloudless skies. If you are into skiing, you can find the slopes just 90 minutes away. Nearest airports are Marseille and Toulon (75 mins) and Nice (90 mins). Car is essential!
